Rental Rates
Rental Rates Are in Euros. We accept payment in Euros or UK Pounds* only.
Rental Period You may arrive and depart on any day of the week but our minimum rental period is seven consecutive nights. Our rates include bed linen, towels and utilities; the property is fully equipped and there is no need to bring anything except your personal items with you.
Occupancy The maximum number of guests we can accomodate is six. The rates quoted are for parties of up to four guests aged 16 or older and two aged 15 or younger (more if fewer 16+). For parties outside these parameters please see the note below.
Arrival & Departure Normal arrival is between 16:00 and 18:00 local time. Unless previously agreed, you must vacate the property by 10:00 on the day of departure.
Rental rates are for the entire property.

NOTES
For parties of more than four guests aged 16 and over (i.e. five or six, the maximum occupancy) there is an additional charge of €10 per night per additional guest. Guests aged under 16 at the date of arrival are included in the basic rates (we reserve the right to see proof of age). A baby sleeping in a cot will not be considered a "guest" for these purposes. Conditions apply in respect of your own guests staying, should you have any, so before you book please satisfy yourself that our terms of business are suitable for the manner in which you intend to occupy the property.
La Goupillère is also suitable for shorter stays and, depending on the make-up of your party, our rates are very competitive with and usually much cheaper than hotels or B&B anywhere in the area. You may of course stay for as short a period as you like but our minimum price is seven nights rental and we feel that four or five nights is the minimum that makes economic sense... but you get so much more!
There is a small Tourist Tax (Taxe de Séjour) payable by all visitors aged 18 or over who stay in accommodation (hotels, gîtes, B&B, campsites, etc.) For La Goupillère, this is currently €1,00 per night and is remitted by us to The Communauté de Communes.
* If you are unable to pay in Euros you may pay in UK Pounds into our UK bank account. Funds will be converted and transferred to our EU bank account on the day your payment is received in Pounds using Wise low-cost money transfer for each stage of your payment. You will be notified of and given proof of the exact Euro value of your UK payment and any significant discrepancy in the € value received by us, paid to us (or we to you if appropriate), in cash when settling the Taxe de séjour charge.
